A Day in the Life

This 6-month Contract is for a Cardiac Clintech with relevant experience within the CRM environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting the adoption and effective use of Medtronic’s technologies and products within the Cath lab and Operating Theatre environments. This role involves direct case support, patient interaction, and the execution of diagnostic procedures to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and user experience.


Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Responsible for working with teams operating within a service group, or product group and/ or project group.
  • Provide in-theatre and Cathlab case support to facilitate product adoption and usage.
  • Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests, including electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other monitoring procedures.
  • Accurately document patient information, medical history, and procedural data.
  • Deliver patient education and instruction on care procedures and post-operative protocols.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to ensure seamless integration of technology into workflows.
  • Maintain high standards of ethical conduct and professional integrity in all patient and team interactions.
  • Offer flexible, on-demand clinical support across multiple facilities as needed.
  • Partner with Sales Reps to promote education of the company's products and/or services.
  • Communicate customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders – Reps and Territory Leads.
  • Inventory management in allocated accounts as per Company’s procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with internal training (Cornerstone + Product/Clinical), use of Customer Relations Management Tools (CRM), example SFDC.
  • Support Sales Force with order processing and follow-up with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Qualified Cardiac Clinical Technologist
  • Exposed to Cardiac Clinical Technology
  • Exposure with relevant software applications and related CRM programmer software (PowerPoint; Excel; Word)
  • Self-Motivated, Team Player
  • Taking ownership and accountability for the assigned territory
  • Determined and Goal orientated
  • Excels in a fast-paced competitive environment
  • Highly persuasive with strong clinical & selling skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent teamwork, collaboration, and networking skills
  • Formal presentation skills as well as organization and planning
