A Day in the Life

If you are passionate about supply chain excellence and want to contribute to improving patient outcomes worldwide, this is your chance to make a meaningful difference.This position is based in Yokneam with a hybrid working model, combining on-site collaboration with flexible remote work. You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, R&D and engineering. Occasional interaction with global suppliers across different time zones is expected. Travel requirements are minimal but may include supplier visits or internal meetings when necessary.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP – Material Requirements Planning) to ensure timely availability of components
- Execute procurement activities including purchase order creation, tracking, and supplier communication
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels while balancing cost efficiency and service level targets
- Evaluate supplier performance including on-time delivery (OTD – On-Time Delivery), quality, and lead times
- Identify supply risks and implement mitigation plans to ensure continuity of supply
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production schedules and new product introductions
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in planning and procurement within a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP – Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, preferably SAP
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Experience working with international suppliers and global supply chains
- Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken)
Experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry and familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA (Food and Drug Administration) or ISO (International Organization for Standardization) are advantageous, as well as exposure to Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP – Sales and Operations Planning) processes.
