A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepares internal and external financial reports.
- Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments and income.
- Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and review and verify accuracy.
- Prepares balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow statements, prepares and consolidates financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports.
- Designs, modifies, installs, and/or maintains accounting systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions.
- Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures and internal controls.
- May be responsible for month end close.
- May be responsible for technical support and accounting of M&A activities.
- May oversee technical accounting research for complex business transactions and implementation of new accounting standards.
OFFICE SUPPORT CAREER STREAM: Individual contributors who provide organizational related support or service (administrative or clerical) for other members within the organization. The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision.

Communication and Influence: Communicates typically with internal contacts within and outside of immediate team.
Obtains and provides information requiring some explanation or interpretation .
Leadership and Talent Management: May provide guidance and assistance to new or entry level employees.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 Year experience as Accountant Support strictly required
- General Accounting experience a plus
- Highly Proficient in Excel a must
- English language spoken and written as he/she interacts with external OUS parties a must
- Knowledge as Cost Accountant or Financial Analyst for a medium-big size operation
- Excellent Time Management skills
- Hands-on style a must
- Results oriented
- High Analysis skills, data Oriented
