As a Sales Representative for Capital Equipment, you will be responsible for achieving defined sales targets while developing deep product expertise through ongoing training. You will build and maintain a robust network of accounts to expand the adoption of device therapies, diagnostics, and monitoring solutions, in line with current and future disease-management guidelines. In this role, you will also gather market intelligence and actively monitor, track, and report on competitor activities. The territory for this position includes Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Albania and Malta.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Provide technical and clinical support to physicians according to therapy requirements.
  • Develop and strengthen referral networks between implanting centers and referring physicians to enhance brand compliance and promote capital equipment use.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers, and referring physicians to position Medtronic as the preferred partner.
  • Educate physicians on clinical evidence, Medtronic products, therapies, and services to improve patient outcomes and foster brand loyalty.
  • Lead regional training activities, including peer‑to‑peer sessions, implant‑procedure interest generation, and speaker development within the region.
  • Accurately report account, market, competitive, and activity information, ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and immediate escalation of product or customer issues.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Manager on planned activities and attend all required regional and national meetings.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Ability to work effectively with sales teams, physicians, nurses, and hospital technicians.
  • Account management skills with a customer‑focused and consultative selling approach.
  • Solid negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Fluent in English and the local language, both written and spoken.
  • High computer literacy and possession of a valid clean driving license.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the role.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related fields is required, along with willingness to work in and learn about the medical devices and healthcare environment, developing sales skills and practical experience in the surgical operating room (OR), ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and product knowledge learning agility.
