A Day in the Life
Medtronic is seeking a Finance System Analyst to join our Global FP&A Systems Center of Excellence. In this role, you’ll play a key role in supporting our global FP&A organization with the OneStream planning/forecasting processes, master data governance and management reporting. We’re looking for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and passionate about improving financial systems and business processes.
You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, solve system challenges, support end users, and help drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze financial data, systems, and processes to identify opportunities for improvement
Serve as a subject matter expert and build strong relationships with stakeholders
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in partnership with technical teams
Assist in testing and implementing new processes and system upgrades
Develop and deliver clear communication and training materials to support stakeholders.
Provide daily system support, data validation, and issue resolution
Document processes and clarify business requirements
Support and maintain Copilot BOT and other AI-powered tools to enhance finance system efficiency and user productivity.
Participate in cross-functional and continuous improvement projects
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of experience in finance or working with ERP systems
Experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting tools
Nice to Have
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, computer science, or a related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Experience working with financial systems
Skilled in data analysis and presenting findings
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities
Understanding of Medtronic financial systems and processes is a plus
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP
Experience with AI-powered tools (such as Copilot) in finance or analytics environments
Exposure to OneStream or similar enterprise performance management (EPM) platforms
Continuous improvement or Lean Six Sigma experience

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
