A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Understand Concur system, process/audit Concur reports

• Daily quality monitoring of outsourcing team

• Amex card admin to apply or cancel cards for country employees

• Monthly Concur reports quality check

• Supplier manual payment validation & initiating

• local bank payment and treasury related funding requirements

• vendor query and local requestor escalation handling, communicate and solve with related parties about any variances or exception during the process

• Account reconciliation for AP related account and open issue clearance within 60 working days

• AP process and related month end journey entries into SAP Finance

• Understand and follow the standard SAP Procure to Pay process, collaborate with APAC/GC controller team to continuously improve the internal control and process

• Managing AP&EEM related service request and handling ad-hoc/escalate issues as required

• Provides immediate attention to queries and follow-up with appropriate resolution

• Liaises with internal departments for effective solutions to problem resolution

• Support internal/external audit

• Provide KPI reports to internal stakeholders (e.g. local country finance)

• Participating in improvement project discussion and execution

• Backup other team members when needed

• Ad hoc projects or tasks as assigned by the Manager

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

• University Business degree with accounting/finance focus

• Professional qualification in finance will be highly preferred (e.g. CPA, CIMA, ACCA…)

• Concur application knowledge and experience

• SAP application knowledge and experience

• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint

JOB EXPERIENCE

Experience in Finance or major in accounting/finance, with AP&EEM related experience preferred.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with a particular strength in English. Japanese/Korean will be an advantage.

• Able to work independently but also a good team player to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships

• “Can do” attitude and strong execution focus with the ability to work to tight timeline

• Willing to take additional workload

• Good interpersonal skills and personality

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

Being flexible to work extended hours and having flexible holiday arrangements to meet local business needs
