A Day in the Life

The Senior Manager, Capital Equipment and Service Solutions, is responsible for leading the strategic direction, execution, and lifecycle management of the capital equipment portfolio within the Central Cluster. This role requires strong leadership, commercial acumen and cross-functional collaboration to drive business growth, ensure market competitiveness, and enhance customer value through innovative capital solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in capital equipment sales, portfolio management, and the healthcare industry, with a track record of success in driving revenue and market share.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Commercial Execution: Partner with sales, marketing, and finance teams to optimize pricing, reimbursement, and go-to-market strategies for capital equipment
  • Portfolio Strategy & Management: Develop and implement the overall strategy for the capital equipment portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives, market needs, and regulatory requirements
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of capital products, from market analysis and product development to commercialization and end-of-life management
  • Customer & Market Insights: Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
  • Financial Performance: Drive portfolio profitability, forecasting, and P&L management, ensuring financial targets are met
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), hospital executives, and industry partners to strengthen market positioning
  • Talent Development: (hiring, performance, rewards, coaching & development, Organization Talent Planning).

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Education: University Master's degree
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in the medical devices industry, with a strong background in sales and capital equipment portfolio management
  • People Management: Experience and strong track record in leading winning teams and developing talents. Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and driving strategic initiatives
  • Technical & Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of capital equipment technology, healthcare economics, and sales strategies
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data, market research, and financial reports to make informed decisions
  • Communication & Influence: Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

This position is eligible for an annual long-term incentive plan.
