As a global leader in healthcare technology, Medtronic plays a pivotal role in addressing these needs.The Senior Marketing Specialist – TICA is responsible for supporting commercial strategy execution, market development, and sales excellence for various portfolios across Turkey, Iran, and Central Asia. The role acts as a regional subject‑matter expert for Cardiac Surgery & Aortic; Surgical Innovations or Capital Equipment solutions, partnering closely with country teams, distributors, and cross‑functional stakeholders to accelerate adoption, optimize capital sales cycles, and strengthen long‑term installed‑base performance in diverse healthcare environments. For this position, we are looking for candidates based in Istanbul.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Lead the development and execution of therapy-focused marketing strategies across TICA, aligning with global and regional priorities
- Drive market activation and demand generation through targeted HCP engagement, clinical education platforms, and KOL partnerships
- Shape value-based marketing strategies, translating clinical and economic evidence into compelling value propositions tailored to diverse healthcare environments
- Enable field teams with actionable insights and tools, ensuring strong execution and consistent messaging across markets
- Lead product launches and adoption acceleration, ensuring structured go-to-market plans and measurable impact
- Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Medical, Market Access, Finance) to translate strategy into execution and drive business outcomes
- Track and optimize marketing impact, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- University degree required (Business, Engineering, Life Sciences, or equivalent). Advanced degree is a plus.
- 4+ years of demonstrated strong marketing experience preferably within medical technology, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or comparable complex industries ideally within TICA or similar regions
- Strong proficiency in English (written, spoken, and reading comprehension) is required.
- Proven experience supporting distributor and indirect sales models in a regional/multi-country setup
- Experience in one or more of the following portfolios is preferred: Cardiac Surgery & Aortic, Capital Equipment, Surgical Innovations (Hernia & Wound Management)
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on, execution‑focused mindset
- Solid understanding of healthcare economics, value‑based selling, and business dynamics of specific portfolio groups
