Demand Planning Director-EurAsia

As the Global Demand Planning Director for EurAsia, you will be accountable for driving a high‑quality, consensus demand plan that enables reliable supply, strong commercial execution, and informed leadership decision‑making. Driving improvements in forecast accuracy, bias and value add.

A Day in the Life
In this highly visible leadership role, you will own the end‑to‑end demand planning and long‑range demand outlook for the EurAsia region and lead a team of demand planners. Partnering closely with Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, and Business unit teams, you will drive forecast accuracy, align on demand signals, and ensure a clear linkage between near-term forecasts, Long-Range Planning (LRP), and strategic business priorities.
You Will:
Drive forecast quality and performance improvements, including Forecast Accuracy (FA), Bias, and Forecast Value Add (FVA)
Lead Regional and Tactical Demand Reviews as part of the IBP process, aligning stakeholders on assumptions, risks, opportunities, and long‑range demand drivers
Partner with Finance and Strategy to develop and maintain Long‑Range Planning (LRP) demand assumptions, ensuring consistency between the operational forecast, AOP, and multi‑year outlook
Partner with the stat analyst team to ensure a strong baseline
Drive adoption and effective use of our Advanced Planning Systems to support forecasting, scenario modeling, phase in/phase out and long‑term decision making
Ensure adherence to the monthly demand planning calendar and IBP / S&OP governance, including integration of LRP into executive forums
Own the demand plan roll‑up across the regions and ensure a smooth, disciplined demand‑to‑supply handoff, supporting both execution and future capacity decisions
Define and execute actions to improve demand planning KPIs, planning maturity, and long‑term business outcomes
Lead, coach, and mentor managers and demand planners; build organizational capability in both operational and long‑range planning, and support succession planning
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 10 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or related functions, with 7+ years of people leadership experience
OR
Advanced degree plus 8 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, supply chain, or related functions, with 7+ years of people leadership experience
Nice to Have:
Experience with Advanced Planning Systems (e.g., BlueYonder, SAP IBP, Kinaxis, o9, or similar), including demand forecasting, scenario modeling, and planning governance
Strong statistical forecasting and analytics capability, including model selection, performance analysis, and continuous improvement of forecast accuracy
Proven ability to influence senior leaders and cross‑functional stakeholders in a complex, global, matrixed organization
Deep understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes, including demand planning, S&OP / IBP, and demand‑to‑supply integration
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
Experience leading in global, regulated environments (e.g., medical device, healthcare), managing ambiguity, driving change at scale, and supporting complex, multi‑regional portfolios
