Medtronic’s Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) business is redefining patient monitoring through intelligent devices, software, analytics, and connectivity. Within ACM, the HealthCast™ Digital Health portfolio plays a central role in our evolution toward scalable, software-enabled and SaaS-based solutions that improve clinical decision-making and operational efficiency across care settings.

We are seeking a Global Senior Product & Marketing Operations Manager – Digital Health to serve as the operational leader and integrator for our Digital Health marketing organization. This role is designed for a high‑potential, hands‑on operator who brings strong program management discipline, operational rigor, and digital product fluency — and who is eager to grow into broader digital health leadership over time.

This individual contributor role will work closely with senior Digital Health leadership and function as a trusted operating partner, helping translate strategy into execution while building the processes, cadence, and structures needed to scale SaaS and recurring‑revenue businesses.

This role includes global travel approximately 20% of the time and regularly interacts with global partners and stakeholders requiring meetings after normal business hours as needed.

A Day in the Life

You’ll act as the operational backbone of the Digital Health marketing team, owning planning cycles, managing programs, tracking execution, and coordinating across product, marketing, R&D, finance, and regions.

You’ll be deeply involved in how decisions get made, how investments are tracked, and how priorities move from idea to execution — giving you meaningful exposure to both strategy and scale.

Key Responsibilities

Product & Marketing Operations Leadership

  • Own day‑to‑day product and marketing operations for the Digital Health marketing organization
  • Establish and run operating rhythms (annual planning, quarterly reviews, portfolio readouts)
  • Serve as the connective tissue between upstream product marketing and downstream/global marketing
  • Bring structure, clarity, and predictability to how work is planned and executed

Program & Portfolio Management

  • Lead cross‑functional programs spanning product strategy, launches, lifecycle management, and growth initiatives
  • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes across multiple initiatives
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, sequencing, and resourcing across teams
  • Proactively surface risks and tradeoffs to enable timely decision‑making

Digital Transformation & SaaS Enablement

  • Support ACM’s digital and SaaS transformation by helping define and operationalize new ways of working
  • Partner with Product, Finance, and Commercial teams to support subscription and recurring‑revenue models
  • Help establish processes, metrics, and governance to support software KPIs (e.g., adoption, usage, renewals)
  • Identify process gaps and help build scalable structures that support software‑led growth

Budget, Investment & Operating Visibility

  • Own marketing operating budget management, including planning, tracking, and variance analysis
  • Partner with Finance on forecasts, accruals, and investment prioritization
  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into spend, progress, and outcomes

Leadership Enablement & Strategic Support

  • Act as a trusted operating partner to Digital Health leadership
  • Prepare executive‑level readouts, dashboards, and planning materials
  • Drive follow‑through on leadership priorities and strategic initiatives
  • Support key reviews, planning sessions, and cross‑functional forums

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Design and evolve processes, templates, and tools to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Drive adoption of best practices across product ops, marketing ops, and program management
  • Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and outcome‑oriented execution

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 7+ years of experience in product operations, marketing operations, program management, or business operations or 5+ years with an advanced degree.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working in digital products, digital health, healthcare technology, SaaS, or platform‑based environments (preferred but not required)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross‑functional initiatives in a matrixed organization
  • Experience supporting digital or software‑enabled business models
  • Familiarity with product lifecycles, launches, and commercialization processes
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and investment tracking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including for senior audiences
  • MBA or advanced degree in business, healthcare, or engineering

Impact

This role is foundational to scaling ACM’s Digital Health portfolio. You will help transform how the organization operates, create leverage for leaders, and build the operational foundation for long‑term success in software‑enabled healthcare.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$134,400.00 - $201,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
