A Day in the Life

We are seeking a digitally savvy, results-driven Recruiting Marketing Manager to the lead content development, execution and measurement of focused recruiting marketing campaigns and social media content to improve how talent discovers, engages with and choses Medtronic as a global employer of choice.

This is an on-site role open to location at one of our major hubs.

Reporting to the Director of Emerging Talent & Careers, this role will work with TA, Communications, Legal, Marketing and HR to engage qualified candidates through an integrated marketing approach using paid media, CRM, AI-driven search, social, and career site platforms. This role requires strong ownership, a bias for action, and the ability to connect marketing activity to measurable hiring results. This is a hands-on content creation and execution role that will benefit from your experience using content development tools.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Create compelling recruitment marketing assets including social graphics, short-form video, motion graphics, photography direction, copywriting, and campaign toolkits.

  • Develop and execute recruitment marketing campaigns that support hiring priorities, employer brand awareness, and candidate engagement goals.

  • Own and manage the recruitment marketing and social media editorial calendar aligned to hiring initiatives, employee stories, events, and business priorities.

  • Write and optimize platform-specific content designed to increase engagement, reach, and candidate conversion across digital channels.

  • Design and execute integrated recruitment marketing campaigns across social media, career sites, email marketing, streaming, podcasting, and other digital platforms.

  • Lead the strategy, content development, and ongoing optimization of the company’s career site, talent communities, and employer brand channels.

  • Build and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns across LinkedIn, Google, and programmatic advertising platforms.

  • Develop and activate talent community and CRM engagement strategies.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Corporate Communications, Marketing, Legal, business leaders, and external vendors to develop content and campaigns aligned to workforce priorities.

  • Manage campaign workflows, timelines, budgets, approvals, and deliverables across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.

  • Analyze campaign and social media performance metrics to optimize audience targeting, channel effectiveness, and return on investment.

  • Optimize content and digital experiences for SEO, AI-driven search, and candidate discoverability.

  • Monitor recruitment marketing trends, emerging technologies, and social platform updates to continuously evolve strategy and content effectiveness.

  • Ensure all recruitment marketing content aligns with brand standards, compliance requirements, and organizational messaging guidelines.

Must Have Min Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Nice to Have

  • Educational background in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Communications

  • Experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for content development

  • Experience working with multiple departments within a large organization

  • Editing experience using tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro

  • Employer brand platform experience via tools like LinkedIn Campaign Manager or Appcast

  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and deploying messaging strategies, including asset creation, communication planning, and cross-channel content distribution.

  • Proven experience in crafting and implementing digital strategies, with a track record in both organic and paid social media campaigns.

  • Prior experience with Employer Branding and Recruitment Marketing technologies, such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, and other relevant platforms.

  • Knowledge of innovative approaches to drive candidate awareness, engagement, and brand affinity, including social media, employment branding, and advertising, with a deep understanding of recruitment process workflows and relevant employment laws

  • Experience applying SEO, AI-driven search, and GEO to improve discoverability and conversion.

  • Experience scaling employee advocacy, referral, or talent community programs.

For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$118,400.00 - $177,600.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
