Our Pelvic Health Operating Unit advances care for patients living with bladder and bowel control conditions through targeted, minimally invasive neuromodulation therapies, including sacral and tibial solutions. Designed to modulate nerve pathways and restore communication between the brain and pelvic floor, these programmable therapies deliver personalized treatment supported by strong clinical evidence and long-term outcomes—helping improve confidence, independence, and quality of life.

At Medtronic, the Clinical Specialist supports the Pelvic Health groups in the areas of surgical coverage, follow-up, support, troubleshooting, customer service and education within a territory. In certain instances, this role may be engaged in basic market development activities depending upon the needs of the assigned territory.
This is a field-based role in Albany, NY.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides clinical and procedural support during surgical cases, including product preparation, device troubleshooting, and therapy support throughout the patient care journey
- Educates and train physicians, hospital personnel, and office staff on product features, clinical applications, and therapy best practices through individual and group training programs
- Builds and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers by proactively identifying customer needs and delivering ongoing clinical support
- Serves as a clinical resource by maintaining expertise in product portfolios, therapies, competitive technologies, and industry developments
- Partners with sales and field teams to support account objectives, customer adoption, and overall business growth
- Completes case-related documentation, product orders, inventory activities, and administrative requirements accurately and in a timely manner
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to support training initiatives, customer programs, and regional or national projects
- Ensures compliance with quality standards, company policies, and applicable regulatory requirements in all customer and business interactions
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years OR associate degree and 6 years OR Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of patient care/clinical experience
- Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical experience with implantable neuromodulation products and stimulation therapies
- Experience working within a medical device or pharmaceutical company and/or clinical experience in urology, OB/GYN surgery, nursing, neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedics, operating room environments, or home health care
For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals.
