The Director of Global Marketing for HIV – Daily Treatment Programs will play a pivotal role in supporting the Executive Director, Global Marketing for HIV – Daily Treatment Programs in driving the global commercial success of our HIV daily treatment portfolio and making a significant impact on the lives of people living with HIV worldwide. In this important position, you will be responsible for supporting the development of sophisticated marketing strategies through a comprehensive management of data and analytics, as well as coordinating market research for positioning and value proposition. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new HIV daily treatment programs and provide strategic leadership to the promotional team, ensuring best-in-class launch planning and implementation. Additionally, you will engage countries in sharing best practices and foster connections to support daily HIV performance and launch readiness.

Your efforts will be focused on co-leading and executing a best-in-class launch and establishing an investigational drug daily treatment program as the cornerstone of our Company's HIV pipeline, aiming to regain a leadership position in the highly competitive HIV market. This role offers high visibility within the fast-growing HIV franchise and strong potential for professional development and growth.

HIV continues to significantly affect more than 38 million individuals worldwide, with over 1.5 million new infections occurring each year. The progress of medical advancements has transformed HIV from a once-deadly sentence to a manageable chronic disease. However, as people with HIV age, the risk of developing comorbidities increases, and they are exposed to antiretroviral treatment for extended periods of time. To address these challenges, innovation is crucial to alleviate the burden of HIV on individuals, communities, and societies.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Development of Marketing Strategies:

  • Conduct comprehensive data analysis and analytics to inform marketing strategies, including cannibalization, share assumptions, switching behaviors, patient journey, and segment size.

  • Utilize market research to identify and leverage demographic trends and customer insights, ensuring the development of effective branding and value proposition.

  • Coordinate market research efforts to gather critical insights for precise product positioning and differentiation.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with overall business objectives.

Lead the Development of Strategic Launch Plans and Tactics:

  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and cross-functional teams to develop a comprehensive roadmap for the development of launch assets and plans, ensuring alignment with global objectives.

  • Support the development and execution of sophisticated marketing tactics and initiatives, including digital approach, to maximize the impact of the launch.

  • Provide strategic leadership to the promotional team, ensuring the cohesive and effective execution of marketing activities, and fostering an environment of innovation.

Engage Countries in Sharing Best Practices and Facilitate Connections:

  • Cultivate strong relationships with country teams, serving as a key point of contact for sharing best practices and ensuring launch readiness.

  • Coordinate efforts to connect countries, fostering knowledge exchange and collaboration to enhance global marketing strategies.

  • Stay abreast of industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for improvement, innovation, and competitive advantage.

Position Qualifications:

  • Minimum Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Education: Advanced Degree (MBA)

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, business consulting, or related roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Strong proficiency in advanced data analysis and analytics, with a proven ability to derive actionable insights and inform strategic decision-making.

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex information and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing sophisticated marketing strategies that deliver measurable business results.

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and lead by influence.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • Experience with digital marketing, project management.

  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical capabilities, digital environment acumen.

  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive initiatives forward.

Travel: Approximately 10% of the time

U.S. Hybrid Work Model

Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.

Expected salary range:

$181,600.00 - $285,800.00
