We are currently recruiting for an Associate Director US Oncology Consumer Marketing to work on our future launch strategy for the subcutaneous version of immuno-oncology product, as well as pipeline indications with our alliance partner.. This is an exciting time for a talented and passionate marketer who has an unwavering focus on the patient to join our team. This position will be responsible for leading key elements of the consumer marketing strategy supporting current and future business opportunities. The position will report to a Director, US Consumer Marketing.
The Associate Director role requires outstanding leadership in many areas, including strategy development, problem solving, launch excellence, as well as the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. This role also requires exceptional networking and partnership leadership skills to navigate a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders, including our alliance partner.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Strong leadership in developing and executing consumer marketing strategy for both existing and future indications
Successfully define priorities for both patient activation and patient educational support
Closely collaborate among our company's internal stakeholders and with external collaboration partners, to ensure consumer strategy is integrated and aligned with overall brand and franchise priorities
Recognize and recommend market research needs, develop stimuli, and uncover insights to support strategy development
Serve as the subject matter expert for consumer insights and the patient journey
Leverage knowledge of the market dynamics and competitive set to make strong go-to-market recommendations and shifts
Champion for prioritized efforts towards the development and execution of consumer marketing strategy and facilitate internal resource trade-offs as needed. Escalate issues that represent significant barriers to execution and/or business impact
Effective agency and innovative partnership management to drive business impact
Solid understanding of social and digital media to evaluate recommendations that align to target audience
Ability to interpret consumer data, media measurement and analytics to ensure ongoing optimization and success against strategy and campaign goals
Thinks innovatively, challenge status quo, and gain sponsorship/ support to address gaps
Successful promotional budget oversight as part of broader P&L
Responsibilities could also include, but not limited to go to market strategies for other future indications and combinations, as well as patient recruitment activities
Minimum Education required:
Required: BA/BS
Preferred: MBA
Required Experience and skills:
Minimum of 5 years of proven success in leading pharmaceutical brand strategy, implementation and measurement
Product/Indication launch experience in the US market
Experience working with market research, message and campaign development
Self-starter who exhibits ownership and accountability to successfully manage effectively in a complex environment and lead sub-teams in support of key marketing strategy areas
Leadership experience in fostering collaboration, driving results, acting with courage and candor with the underpinning of excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of integrated marketing across various channels
Knowledgeable of US commercial and regulatory requirements
Excels when addressing ambiguity, working outside existing processes and structures
Test and learn mindset to drive culture of innovation
Experience influencing without authority and working successfully with cross-functional teams
Preferred Experience and skills:
Oncology consumer marketing experience
HCP marketing experience
Experience with combination and/or co-promote brands
This role will require approximately 10% travel, including some weekends.
Position Location: Upper Gwynedd, PA with hybrid work model (3x onsite per week).

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
