Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the technology vision and roadmap for software solutions supporting global clinical trial operations, real-world evidence development, regulatory content authoring, and pharmacovigilance.
Team Empowerment: Inspire and lead a diverse team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence across multiple time zones.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with clinical, regulatory, real-world evidence, and pharmacovigilance teams to align software solutions with business needs, ensuring scalability, compliance, and architectural integrity.
DevSecOps Advocacy: Champion the adoption of DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and security integration, to streamline development and enhance software reliability.
Project Oversight: Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables, ensuring on-time and high-quality execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
Mentorship & Growth: Mentor engineers at all levels, nurturing emerging talent and promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
Innovation Driver: Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating cutting-edge technologies like AI/LLM models, cloud platforms, and containerization to keep our solutions at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications
Required
Education: B.A./B.S. or M.A./M.S. in a technical or scientific discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry, or related fields).
Experience: Minimum of 10 years in technology leadership or IT product management roles within complex, matrixed environments supporting scientific or healthcare disciplines.
Technical Expertise: Proven experience managing software engineering teams with expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security integration, and data engineering.
Cloud & Emerging Tech: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), plus familiarity with AI/LLM models.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, mentor diverse talent, and inspire innovation in a global setting.

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence.This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, field-based positions; facility-based, manufacturing-based, or research-based positions where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely. The Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job in certain states and cities within the United States. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected US salary range:
$153,800.00 - $242,200.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, long term incentive if applicable, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days. A summary of benefits is listed here.
