Senior Specialist, Sales Force Effectiveness – US Oncology
The Senior Specialist, Sales Force Effectiveness Role supports the advancement of field effectiveness strategies for the U.S. Oncology Business Unit across customer-facing sales and key account teams. This role translates commercial objectives into actionable initiatives that enhance HCP engagement, strengthen territory productivity, and drive achievement of business goals. In close partnership with cross-functional stakeholders—including marketing, analytics, operations, and finance—the role contributes to strategic planning, delivers data-driven insights, and enables consistent execution of best practices across the field.
This position also plays a key role in business planning and resource optimization, supporting sales leadership in making informed, data-driven decisions across customer segments and the product portfolio. Responsibilities include identifying growth opportunities, informing resource allocation, and advancing analytic capabilities through enhanced reporting and tools. The role collaborates broadly across headquarters and field teams to ensure seamless execution, while continuously improving planning processes and aligning with evolving U.S. Oncology and brand priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Drive development and execution of field effectiveness initiatives by translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, tools, and resources
Generate performance insights through KPI tracking and analysis, delivering data-driven recommendations to optimize field performance
Partner cross-functionally to enable field execution, support product launches, and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Support business planning and resource optimization across customer segments using data-driven analysis
Lead adoption and continuous improvement of CRM platforms and field tools to enhance execution effectiveness
Enable consistent field execution through training materials, playbooks, and ongoing support
Ensure compliant execution of all field activities in accordance with governance and regulatory standards
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma with 4+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g., sales, marketing, military, healthcare/scientific fields such as pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices)
2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, oncology, commercial operations, or related roles (field or HQ)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Strong business acumen with a consultative, strategic approach to decision-making
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and execute cross-functional initiatives
Effective communication, organization, and project management skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
Ability to travel 10% for national sales and HQ meetings
Preferred Qualifications:
Oncology field sales or key account management experience
Experience supporting product launches or field execution initiatives
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Veeva) and field reporting tools
Exposure to sales force effectiveness, targeting, segmentation, or incentive programs
Experience leveraging advanced analytics and AI-enabled solutions to identify performance opportunities and support data-driven decision-making

The salary range for this role is
$117,000.00 - $184,200.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.
The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
