THE ROLE

Using discretion and judgment, the Internal Wholesaler assists in developing and maintaining relationships, while identifying new opportunities with financial intermediaries distributing MFS products. Working closely with sales directors, the role supports territory management through proactive client engagement, market and competitor awareness, sales idea generation, business development activity, sales coordination, and disciplined use of CRM. This role provides information regarding markets, portfolio positioning, and performance, while helping to promote the sale and retention of MFS products through a high standard of client service.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Help drive new sales for MFS and maintain current asset levels by developing relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. Provide sales support to Directors in the management of key client relationships and the development of new accounts.
  • Work closely with Directors to ensure clients receive high-quality service in an efficient, accurate, and timely manner.
  • Assist in developing and implementing ideas to generate new sales opportunities, increase client engagement, and position MFS products effectively across the territory.
  • Coordinate business development efforts to uncover opportunities with prospective and existing clients.
  • Coordinate sales activities with Directors, Internal Sales Manager, and other departments across the company, including conference calls, client meetings, roadshows, follow-up activity, and other territory initiatives.
  • Understand and respond to client questions regarding economic conditions, market trends, portfolio positioning, fund performance, and product design.
  • Prepare and send requested literature, presentations, hypothetical illustrations, and other sales support materials to prospective and existing clients.
  • Use CRM systems to maintain accurate client records, record client interactions, support pipeline management, track follow-up activity, and identify new opportunities.
  • Take ownership of smaller accounts and help clients progress through the sales cycle.
  • Support additional responsibilities and projects as requested.


WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Fluent in Spanish & English.
  • 2–5+ years of industry experience required.
  • Degree educated or equivalent experience.
  • Experience within sales, client service, or related roles at a financial services firm.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with a high degree of integrity. Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention de detail.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented individual with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated sales skills, including client engagement, identifying opportunities, offering solutions, and maintaining ongoing relationships with brokers and clients.
  • Interest in financial markets and investment products, with the ability to communicate product-related concepts effectively.
  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining accurate client activity records.
