Mission:

As a Payroll and Benefits Specialist, your mission is to ensure accurate and timely completion of payroll processes, maintaining data accuracy, and supporting a positive employee experience. You'll play a vital role in administering employee benefits programs, handling new hire enrolments, terminations, transfers, and changes, all while maintaining the utmost confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process accurately and manage all aspects of payroll, including calculating hours, calculating deductions, processing new hires and terminations, and ensuring compliance with relevant statutory regulations. Professionally resolve payroll discrepancies and address employee queries.

  • Identify and alert management of noncompliance or data quality issues.

  • Organize and archive payroll documentation in line with company and GDPR regulatory guidelines.

  • Administration of employee benefits programme.

  • Support with confidential administration tasks related to payroll and benefits.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll.

  • In-depth knowledge of end-to-end payroll processes.

  • Discreet and capable of handling confidential information with the utmost professionalism.

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.

Working Hours:

  • 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

  • Minimum of 2 days in the office (Stoke on Trent)
