Your role:
As part of the Product Validation Manager team and working in close collaboration with the Validation Center team and Product Development teams, the successful candidate's main responsibilities will be to develop and optimize our testing facilities.
Our validation center employs innovative and progressive methods and can count on a team of dedicated individuals. Many physical tests and validations are carried out each year, ensuring that our customers receive reliable, at the cutting edge of technology.
We need you for:
Design, develop and validate future test benches for tracks and systems;
Ensure the realization of specific assembly required by the validation of new products with the help of the mechanical design technician;
Create and manage test bench documentation and develop test protocols for mechanical components;
Validate and interpret data from various simulator and field tests, and establish methods for analyzing results and failure modes;
Support the maintenance team for mechanical parts with fatigue analysis and simulator performance;
Perform development testing up to standardization.
What do you need to possess for being successful?
You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and a minimum of 5 years' experience;
You are at ease in a bilingual environment (French and English), so you can communicate both orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners;
You are a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
You have excellent knowledge of equipment design and development (testing, production) and hydraulics;
You have a critical, analytical and scientific mind (able to question a concept or a way of doing things with tact and rigor);
You have good project management skills (specifications), design software (e.g. Solidwork, Créo) and experience of standardized testing (ASTM, SAE, etc.).
