Your role:

As part of the Group Trade and Customs Team, the selected candidate is responsible for supporting the team with regulatory compliance with import and export administration in North American locations (Michelin Beyond Road). He/She assists to identify risks related to non-compliance and alert the Customs Country Manager, to develop procedures and to implement them.

We need you for:

  • SAP (multiple modules) - world harmonized tariff codes input (finished and non-finished goods).
  • New Product management in the system
  • Customs entry audit (CA and the US).
  • Assisting with administration of screening process for export control.
  • Final miles transportation of CA and US imports with customs brokers.
  • Record keeping of entry packages for CA and US entries.
  • Data input for reconciliation purposes for US entries and CA.
  • Certificates of origin requests and recordkeeping.
  • Ocean container tracking and reporting.
  • Assist with data collection and analysis.
  • Sharepoint group file management.
  • Assist with regulatory watch and dissemination of information.

SYSTEMS/ERP

  • SAP Fiori and CMO.
  • Trade Automation.
  • Sharepoint.
  • Microsoft Office Tool.

What do you need to possess for being successful?

  • You hold a university or college degree in administration, international trade or transportation logistics or customs OR 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • You have experience of import and export regulations in North America.
  • You are knowledgeable of SAP would be an asset.
  • You are comfortable in a bilingual environment (French and English) in order to be able to communicate orally and in writing with your colleagues and our international partners.
  • You have strong analytical capacity and expertise in solving problems
  • You are innovative and enjoy implementing tools to increase efficiency.
  • You are detail oriented.
  • You are team oriented.
