Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft’s cloud platform, responsible for the end‑to‑end planning, acquisition, construction, and operation of one of the world’s largest and most advanced datacenter infrastructures. Spanning supply planning, strategic acquisition, global construction, datacenter and edge site operations, critical environment availability, engineering, and infrastructure innovation, CO+I plays a pivotal role in enabling Microsoft’s cloud growth at global scale.
To support the continued growth and transformation of our APAC business, we are seeking a highly strategic APAC CO+I Business Manager to partner closely with regional leadership. In this role, you will help drive business execution, operational governance, and organizational effectiveness across a complex, rapidly expanding infrastructure portfolio ensuring regional priorities translate into measurable outcomes aligned with Microsoft’s long‑term strategic objectives.
As a key member of the regional leadership team, you will enable informed decision‑making, advance critical business initiatives, and lead process improvements that strengthen execution discipline and operational scale across APAC.

Business Operations
- Supports day-to-day business operations and planning. Helps to manage team’s rhythm of business (ROB), attends key meetings, ensures timely response to action items, fields and gathers information about engagement asks, and assists in preparation for executive meetings.
- Assists with ROB by kicking off internal initiatives with relevant team leaders/members, managing team adherence to organizational compliance goals, and communicating team feedback and questions.
- Works with cross-team counterparts and supports collaborations with the leadership team to articulate objectives and deliverables and to measure the outcomes relative to the stated goals.
- Creates robust, efficient and sustainable business processes and programs.
- Follows best practices for strategy, consolidates information, and advocates for and prepares information to support the presentation of business cases to leaders. Collaborates with partners and Microsoft stakeholders to ensure alignment in creation and implementation of execution plans.
- Researches and prepares information for the team. Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and aids in data-driven decisions.
Organizational Health
- Tracks the use of role-based compliance trainings and new trainings, as well as leading collaborating on culture initiatives (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, hiring, onboarding) while partnering with Human Resources to do so. Drives training completion rates and ensures a healthy compliance scorecard for the team.
- Analyzes performance metrics to support accountability for the team in executing core business activities.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in operations management, program management, process management, process improvement
- Master’s Degree in relevant field (e.g., MBA) AND 3+ years of experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles.
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
