We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager (Sr. PMM) to drive growth, positioning, and go-to-market for Foundry Tools, a core part of Microsoft’s agentic AI platform. This role sits at the center of a rapidly evolving space—helping define how developers build, deploy, and scale agent-powered applications. It plays a critical part in shaping how Microsoft wins in this emerging category—by making complex capabilities accessible, differentiated, and adoption-ready.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will translate complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated narratives, drive adoption through field and product alignment, and execute high-impact launches that accelerate usage and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Product Positioning and Messaging
• Define clear, differentiated positioning for Foundry Tools across the broader Microsoft agent ecosystem (Foundry, Copilot Studio, Agent Framework, and related platforms)
• Simplify complex product concepts into compelling, developer-first narratives and value propositions
• Shape the long-term category story for agent tooling and developer platforms
Go-to-Market Strategy and Execution
• Drive alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams on core capabilities and go-to-market plans
• Lead end-to-end go-to-market execution for key launches, from strategy to execution across product, communications, and sales
• Develop and deliver high-impact marketing moments (announcements, blogs, demonstrations, videos, field assets)
Growth and Adoption
• Partner with Product and Business Planning to drive product usage growth
• Define and execute strategies to accelerate onboarding and expansion
• Analyze product and market signals to optimize growth levers
Field Enablement and Sales Readiness
• Create scalable field guidance, pitch decks, frequently asked questions, and playbooks that enable sellers and partners
• Equip field teams to articulate value, address objections, and position against competitors
• Partner with Global Black Belt teams and field teams to gather insights and continuously refine messaging
Customer and Partner Engagement
• Engage directly with strategic customers and partners to understand needs, validate positioning, and inform roadmap
• Represent Foundry Tools in executive briefings, events, and industry forums
Competitive Strategy
• Monitor and analyze competitors (for example, agent frameworks, hosting platforms, and developer tooling)
• Translate insights into clear competitive narratives, field guidance, and product implications
• Help shape Microsoft’s response to changes in the agent platform landscape
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
• Background in artificial intelligence and machine learning, developer platforms, or cloud services
• Experience with agent frameworks, application programming interfaces, or developer tooling ecosystems
• Experience working closely with engineering teams and influencing product direction
• Ability to operate independently within scope, with guidance on broader portfolio strategy
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality marketing assets with strong attention to detail
• Experience communicating effectively with executive audiences
