Responsibilities
1. Cloud Infrastructure Delivery
- Lead design and implementation of Azure infrastructure solutions (IaaS/PaaS), including compute, storage, networking, and identity
- Execute cloud migration and modernization programs (on-prem → Azure, hybrid cloud scenarios)
- Deliver landing zones, governance, and security baselines aligned with enterprise requirements
2. Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Architect end-to-end infrastructure solutions across:
- Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, ExpressRoute, VPN
- Identity (Entra ID), Zero Trust security, monitoring, and DR
- Provide technical guidance and best practices on scalability, reliability, and cost optimization
- Conduct architecture reviews, design workshops, and technical deep-dives
3. Customer Engagement & Solutioning
- Partner with customer stakeholders (IT, security, business) to define cloud strategy and roadmap
- Translate business requirements into technical solution architectures
- Drive adoption of Microsoft Cloud through consultative engagement and innovation sessions
4. Delivery Excellence & Governance
- Own delivery of complex workstreams within large transformation programs
- Manage risks, dependencies, and quality standards across infrastructure scope
- Collaborate with global ISD, CSU, and partner ecosystem for end-to-end delivery
5. Automation & Modern Engineering
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM/Bicep, Terraform, or scripting
- Enable DevOps practices for infrastructure provisioning and operations
- Support monitoring, cost management, and continuous optimization
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5–8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure, IT consulting, or systems engineering
- Hands-on experience with:
- Azure IaaS/PaaS services (VMs, VNet, Storage, Backup, etc.)
- Hybrid cloud / migration scenarios
- Enterprise infrastructure (Windows/Linux, networking, virtualization)
- Experience delivering customer-facing consulting engagements
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure or equivalent certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, Security, DevOps
- Experience in:
- Cloud security and Zero Trust architecture
- DR/BC (Azure Backup, Site Recovery)
- Cost optimization and governance frameworks
- Familiarity with AI-ready infrastructure or data/AI platform integration
- Experience in large-scale enterprise or regulated industry environments
This role is designed to support government customers operating in a regulated environment. As a result, the position is subject to government procurement contracts and/or applicable legal requirements.
