As a SAP on Azure Digital Solution Specialist, you will serve as a senior solution sales leader responsible for driving Microsoft’s SAP business across Latin America. You will engage with executive stakeholders, SAP counterparts, strategic partners, and enterprise customers to help organizations modernize, migrate, and optimize SAP workloads on Microsoft Azure.
In this role, you will leverage your deep SAP expertise and business acumen to identify opportunities, develop compelling business cases, lead complex sales cycles, and drive customer adoption of SAP on Azure solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding their cloud transformation journey while helping them achieve business and technology objectives.
This opportunity will allow you to:
- Develop deep expertise in SAP on Azure and enterprise cloud transformation.
- Build executive-level relationships across customers, partners, and Microsoft leadership teams.
- Lead strategic, high-impact opportunities that influence Microsoft's SAP business across Latin America.
This is a hybrid role that requires customer engagement across the region and travel approximately 20-35% of the time, including customer visits, industry events, and SAP-related conferences.
Responsibilities

- Lead executive-level discussions with enterprise customers regarding SAP modernization, SAP migration, digital transformation, and cloud adoption strategies using Microsoft Azure.
- Build trusted advisor relationships with C-suite, business, and technology decision makers, influencing long-term cloud and SAP transformation strategies.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to identify, qualify, advance, and close complex SAP on Azure opportunities while consistently delivering against revenue and consumption objectives.
- Partner closely with SAP, strategic systems integrators, independent software vendors (ISVs), and Microsoft's technical and sales teams to deliver successful customer outcomes and accelerate business growth.
- Lead complex deal orchestration efforts by coordinating virtual teams across sales, technical, engineering, licensing, legal, and partner organizations to drive predictable deal closure.
- Drive SAP on Azure consumption by identifying customer deployment blockers, developing adoption strategies, and ensuring customers successfully move SAP workloads into production.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in SAP workloads, SAP ecosystem partnerships, SAP migration strategies, SAP infrastructure modernization, RISE with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, and related Azure solutions.
- Provide insights and feedback to Microsoft leadership, engineering, and product teams regarding customer needs, market trends, competitive dynamics, and SAP solution requirements.
- Maintain strong knowledge of SAP technologies, Azure services, and industry trends while continuously building technical, sales, and competitive readiness through certifications and professional development.
- Collaborate across Latin America to support customer engagements, partner initiatives, SAP events, and strategic business planning activities that expand Microsoft's SAP business in the region.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications:
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 4+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
- OR 5+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
- Master's degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field preferred
- Experience. 7-10+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience with pre-sales or consulting experience. Deep expertise on SAP Netweaver platform
- Account Management. 7+ years of services sales or account management experience and leading sales teams: planning, opportunity qualification and creation, stakeholder and executive communication, needs analysis, services/partner engagement, opportunity management and proposal response, pipeline management, large dollar licensing and deal negotiation
- Executive Presence. 7+ years’ experience and expertise selling to C-Suite and executive business decision makers by aligning & reinforcing the value of SAP on Azure to the customer’s overall business pain and/or strategic opportunities and decision criteria.
- Problem Solver. Ability to identify customer's problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions through cloud technologies.
- Collaborative. Orchestrate and influence virtual teams to pursue sales opportunities and lead v-teams through influence. Leads the sales orchestration with internal stakeholders and partners; applies a holistic approach to build network across territories; positions opportunities to promote collaboration and participation.
Additional or preferred qualifications
- Azure Platform. Understanding of Microsoft server products and/or complementing solutions. The position requires the ability to articulate and present the business value of Microsoft's solutions and have a firm understanding of Microsoft's strategies and products relative to major Microsoft competitors
- SAP: Ability to deliver quick POC/landscape sizing and demos using SAP Netweaver platform. Presales SAP ERP Systems to large Enterprise customers. Installation of SAP systems based on SAP NetWeaver for all supported database and operating system combinations. Installation, integration and configuration of SAP HANA, S/4 HANA, SAP Business Suite and SAP BW
- Competitive Landscape. Knowledge of enterprise software solutions and cloud and datacenter infrastructure competitor landscape
- Leadership. Experience leading large cloud engagements, especially those involving Infrastructure modernization and migration
- Partners. Deep Partner engagement and Management skills with SAP focused Practices.
- Communication: Executive level speaking and presentation skills, and very strong written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional and demonstrated decision-making, conflict resolution, problem solving and negotiation skills
