Responsibilities

Drive construction execution in a large-scale greenfield campus environment, ensuring building construction activities remain aligned with site development, utility infrastructure, transportation improvements, and campus-wide construction sequencing. Partner with contractors and project teams to safely execute work in a rapidly evolving construction environment while maintaining schedule and budget commitments.

Manage General Contractor and subcontractor performance, holding construction partners accountable for safety, quality, staffing, productivity, reporting requirements, schedule adherence, and issue resolution. Coordinate project activities with critical supporting infrastructure including substations, electrical distribution systems, water supply systems, transportation infrastructure, and other utility systems required to support campus development and building turnover. Identify and escalate infrastructure readiness risks that could impact project milestones or commissioning activities.

Support execution in a remote West Texas construction environment where workforce availability, transportation logistics, labor accommodations, site access, and material delivery strategies are critical to project success. Partner with contractors and campus leadership to align workforce planning, staffing strategies, transportation plans, and construction logistics with project execution needs.

Manage project financial performance through oversight of budgets, forecasts, change orders, pay applications, Project Expenditure Requests (PERs), and Professional Service Requests (PSRs). Partner with Cost Management and Project Controls teams to identify commercial risks and maintain predictable project outcomes.

Act as a visible safety leader and champion Microsoft’s safety culture. Ensure compliance with Microsoft safety standards, contractor safety programs, OSHA requirements, and regulatory obligations. Participate in safety audits, incident investigations, corrective action reviews, and continuous improvement efforts.

Build effective working relationships with local authorities, utility providers, project partners, contractors, suppliers, Operations, Commissioning, and Quality teams. Communicate project progress, key decisions, risks, and mitigation strategies through concise and executive-ready reporting
