Overview

Microsoft is transforming how organizations work with Copilot and IT professionals are the gatekeepers and accelerators of that change. This Senior Product Marketing Manager, Technical Content role owns the technical content that drives Copilot adoption for the IT Pro audience (administrators, IT decision makers, and security, compliance, and identity owners) across the full adoption journey. You will be the single-threaded owner of one persona content stream, turning complex technical capability into content IT pros trust and act on.



Responsibilities
  • Own the Information Technology Professional content strategy for Copilot and agent adoption from end to end, mapping the audience journey and creating content plans that help Information Technology professionals move from evaluation to confident, governed deployment.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities into trusted content, including security, compliance, data governance, identity management, administrative controls, and Copilot agent management.
  • Build and manage content assets including deployment and readiness guides, administrator playbooks, technical blogs, white papers, frequently asked questions, checklists, demonstrations, and walkthrough content across all stages of the journey.
  • Partner with Engineering and Product teams to anticipate upcoming releases and develop content that supports new capabilities at general availability.
  • Own the site experience and content for Information Technology Professional resources, including information architecture, page content, search optimization, and cross-linking to create a seamless user experience.
  • Maintain a high standard of technical accuracy, security, compliance, and credibility that Information Technology professionals can trust.
  • Collaborate with the community, including Champions, Most Valuable Professionals, and field teams, while enabling partners to extend reach and adoption.
  • Define and track content performance metrics tied to adoption outcomes, including engagement, task completion, deployment influence, and active usage.
  • Manage intake and prioritization for the Information Technology Professional content portfolio, balancing product launches with ongoing enablement content.


Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

  • Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
Additional or preferred qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business OR Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience developing marketing content or customer-facing content for Microsoft 365, security, identity management, cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, or Copilot solutions.
  • Familiarity with organizational adoption of artificial intelligence, technology change management, or deployment and oversight processes.
  • Experience with web content management, information architecture, or search optimization.
  • Experience using content performance insights to inform prioritization and improve effectiveness.
  • Experience engaging with technical communities, including Microsoft Tech Community, Most Valuable Professionals, and user groups.
  • Strong written communication and editorial skills, with the ability to build alignment and influence across Engineering, Product, and field teams.
  • The ability to provide a portfolio of relevant work for review.


Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
