Overview

The Security Cloud Solution Architecture Manager leads a team of security solution architects focused on helping customers successfully adopt, optimize, and expand their use of Microsoft security solutions.You will coach and empower your team to solve complex customer challenges, drive business value, and deliver excellent customer experiences. Working across Microsoft, you will help remove obstacles, coordinate resources, and ensure customers achieve their security and transformation goals.This role combines customer leadership, technical strategy, business growth, and people management. You will identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement, drive operational excellence, influence internal stakeholders, and develop a high-performing team that delivers measurable impact.



Responsibilities
  1. Lead and develop a team of Security Cloud Solution Architects focused on helping customers strengthen their cybersecurity posture and achieve business outcomes.
  2. Partner with CISOs, CIOs, and senior technology leaders to shape security strategies, transformation roadmaps, and long-term technology investments.
  3. Help customers reduce cyber risk by designing and promoting secure, resilient, and scalable cloud architectures aligned with Zero Trust principles.
  4. Drive adoption and business value from Microsoft Security, Cloud, and AI solutions, ensuring customers realize measurable outcomes from their investments.
  5. Guide customers through security modernization initiatives, including identity, data protection, threat protection, cloud security, security operations, and AI-powered security solutions.
  6. Lead resolution of complex technical and business challenges, removing blockers and coordinating resources across Microsoft and customer teams.
  7. Identify opportunities to expand customer success by aligning security investments to business priorities, compliance requirements, and risk management objectives.
  8. Build strong executive relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity trends, resilience strategies, regulatory requirements, and emerging threats.
  9. Drive operational excellence and execution discipline across customer engagements, ensuring consistent delivery quality and predictable outcomes.
  10. Foster a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and continuous learning, helping the team build deep expertise in security, cloud, and AI technologies.
  11. Influence product and solution evolution by bringing customer feedback, industry insights, and field experience back to engineering and product teams.
  12. Represent Microsoft as a security thought leader through executive engagements, industry events, technical communities, and strategic customer conversations.

Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 10+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, technical architect managers, and/or people managers.
Additional or preferred qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 15+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.
8+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
8+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).
8+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, technical architect managers, and/or people managers.
