As an Account Executive for Enterprise Customers on the Retail and Professional Services Account team unit, you help organizations transform how they operate and deliver value by adopting Microsoft solutions. You work closely with business and technology leaders to understand their strategies, identify opportunities, and empower them to realize their ambitions through our cloud and platform capabilities. You lead strategic customer engagements, shape the roadmap of joint initiatives, and champion customer success across every interaction.
In this role, you develop and execute multi‑year account plans across a portfolio of enterprise customers, aligning Microsoft offerings to business outcomes and measurable impact. You orchestrate a broad virtual team of specialists, partners, and internal stakeholders to drive new opportunities, expand solution usage, and ensure high customer satisfaction. You are a visible, trusted point of contact both internally and externally, helping to remove blockers, mitigate risks, and accelerate digital transformation at scale.

Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee the execution of comprehensive account plans for multiple enterprise accounts, ensuring Microsoft revenue targets are met while aligning to each customer’s business priorities and transformation roadmap.
- Anticipate moves, risks, and opportunities within assigned accounts, prioritize actions across the portfolio, and coordinate with the broader account team to adjust plans and resources in response to changing customer needs.
- Build and expand a strong network of internal and external partners to execute core account activities, drive joint business growth, and accelerate customer business and technology transformation.
- Proactively deepen customer relationships by understanding industry trends and customer drivers, advocating for customer needs internally, and leading strategic technology transformation initiatives that deliver clear business outcomes.
- Lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams and key stakeholders, educating decision makers on Microsoft’s value proposition, establishing competitive advantage, and driving upsell, cross‑sell, and consumption of Microsoft solutions.


Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND A few years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) and/or driving digital transformation OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND proven years experience working in a relevant industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education) and/or driving digital transformation OR equivalent experience.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role
  • Prior professional experience working within the technology sector

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 6+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND provenyears experience working in an industry (e.g., financial services, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, energy, government, education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology) OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven years account management experience OR equivalent.
  • Fluency in Danish


Account Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across Denmark is kr 650,400.00 - kr 951,800.00 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
