Are you passionate about helping enterprise customers modernise complex technology estates and build the secure, resilient foundations needed for AI? Join our Customer Success team as a Cloud Solution Architect focused on Cloud & AI Infrastructure. You will combine architecture depth, delivery leadership and a trusted-adviser mindset to help customers move from strategy to production outcomes on Microsoft Azure.

In this customer-facing role, you will lead end-to-end modernisation across infrastructure, applications and databases. You will connect customer priorities to practical architectures, guide delivery across Microsoft and partner teams, and accelerate measurable adoption through repeatable programmes and services. The role is anchored in Modernise with Confidence, with primary depth in infrastructure, application and data modernisation, customer health, security, resiliency and platform engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Lead architecture and technical delivery for secure, resilient and AI-ready modernisation across Azure infrastructure, applications and databases, translating business outcomes into executable plans and production milestones.
  • Apply the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Well-Architected Framework, including landing zones, identity, networking, governance, security, cost optimisation, backup, disaster recovery, availability and capacity planning.
  • Drive application and data modernisation patterns using Azure platform services, containers, integration, automation and database migration capabilities, while ensuring the underlying infrastructure supports production-scale AI and agent scenarios.
  • Orchestrate delivery as One Microsoft with Customer Success Account Managers, account teams, technical specialists, Engineering, Support, partners and delivery teams.
  • Maintain clear scope, ownership, risks, dependencies and customer communications.
  • Prioritise repeatable delivery through Cloud Accelerate Factory, Unified services, acceleration programmes and reusable architecture assets. Resolve technical blockers and maintain quality through committed milestones.
  • Identify follow-on customer value from each engagement, connect opportunities to measurable adoption and consumption outcomes, and maintain disciplined delivery and pipeline hygiene aligned with MCEM guidance.
  • Build technical intensity across the team by sharing customer insights, reusable IP and field feedback, contributing to Cloud & AI Infrastructure communities, and coaching peers on architecture and delivery practices.


Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in cloud or infrastructure technologies, IT consulting or support, systems administration, network operations, software development or support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture and/or consulting; OR Master’s Degree in a related field AND 3+ years’ relevant experience; OR equivalent experience.
  • Experience designing and delivering Azure or comparable cloud solutions in customer-facing environments, including architecture decisions, technical trade-offs and production readiness.
  • Demonstrated depth across cloud infrastructure, identity, networking, security, governance, resiliency and operations, with working knowledge of application and database modernisation.
  • Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders, lead complex engagements, influence without authority and coordinate delivery across multiple teams.
  • Level 200 knowledge across all Azure services.
  • Support at a L300 technical proficiency with delivery accreditation for these secondary/minor workloads: Infra: Win Serv VMs, SAP on Azure, Azure Local, AVS, ARO, Azure API Mgmt, SQL Server enabled by Arc; Platform: Azure Policy, IaaC.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert or relevant cloud, security, networking, database, Linux, Kubernetes or DevOps certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure landing zones, Azure Migrate, Azure Arc, Azure VMware Solution, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure SQL, disaster recovery, observability, automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience applying secure-by-design and Well-Architected practices to regulated, mission-critical or hybrid environments.
  • Experience using AI-assisted engineering or operations capabilities to improve architecture quality, delivery efficiency, reliability or customer insight.
