Microsoft Azure provides customers with an on-demand, scalable cloud infrastructure, platform, and services for customers to build, host, and scale applications through Microsoft’s global data centers. FastTrack for Azure (FTA) helps qualifying customers onboard to, and adopt Azure, getting them on track to build it right and architect it right, the first time. FTA takes a solution-centric approach to optimizing the customer experience to aid rapid adoption, customer solution quality, and mastery of Azure.



We are looking to hire a Customer Experience Program Manager that brings great teamwork, positive attitude, high-energy leadership, and engineering execution to our customer-focus team chartered with enabling a world-class experience for Microsoft Azure cloud platform customers.

This role can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia.

Responsibilities

Areas of responsibility include:

  • Lead the customer onboarding journey, the customer experience and maintain the overall customer onboarding relationship
  • Work closely with FTA engineers in addressing customer solution needs and driving success with their Azure deployments
  • Identify opportunities where we can do better for our customers (process, tools, technology) to increase FTA’s overall impact, enabling FTA to continually prepare, engage, learn and improve the way we help customers adopt Azure at global scale.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across engineering, sales, services and partner teams
  • Evangelize and teach others to reach beyond existing solutions and technologies to incorporate new ideas

Qualifications

Successful Candidate Competencies:

  • Real day-to-day customer-facing experience and empathy
  • Keen ability to communicate ideas effectively with executives and engineering global teams
  • Assembling, leading and working within strong cross-group and matrixed team environments
  • Demonstrated skills and abilities to consistently create an amazingly positive experience for customers
  • Track record of problem-solving ranging from conceptualization to implementation
  • Real-world smart, logical and able to learn new areas quickly
  • Technical proficiency in one or more cloud technologies, Microsoft Azure experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • To support our customers in APAC, Korean language capability would be deemed desirable, please outline on CV if applicable
  • 5+ years of experience for direct customer facing role, management consulting role, or customer project delivery role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, build and deliver customer business results through an engineering or professional services team
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, partners and internal stakeholders
  • Possess an understanding of the onboarding process for Public cloud platform
  • Proven ability to manage difficult and sensitive situations
  • Experience leading projects and teams to motivate others to drive business impact
