We are looking to hire a Business Program Manager within Sales Operations to join our team. This role will be supporting the strategy teams, translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy into a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Responsibilities

Orchestration and Design

Drives collaboration with others on the development and production of sales operation processes. Engages with internal and external stakeholders to meet objectives. Leverages technical expertise and knowledge of Microsoft Office to drive efficiencies through automation.

Strategy Setting and Planning

Drives planning and strategy of sales operation processes, focusing on critical priority areas. Support others in the execution of tactics to support overall strategy, ensuring consistency. Participates in business planning discussions as appropriate. Understands segments, and targets the audience needs and adapts strategies accordingly. Scales processes appropriately for a given effort, including expertise in the levers to use to achieve scale and planning for scale from the outset. Embeds diversity and inclusion (D&I) throughout strategy and execution.

Execution of Strategy

Takes responsibility for the processes and ensures alignment to the strategy and adherence to business objectives. Makes cause and effect connections to ensure processes are consistent across the channels with which Microsoft is connected to a given audience. Takes responsibility for process documentation and experiences. Recommends and develops frameworks and commensurate collateral. Solicits feedback and iterates as appropriate. Demonstrates expertise in available channels and which channels to leverage.

Ensures work is complementary and not duplicative or conflicting with others' efforts. Understands standardized tools and templates available and uses them appropriately.

BUILD SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES: Identify areas where additional training, resources, or support are needed and proactively seek opportunities to address these gaps. Stay informed about Microsoft's training and development programs, certifications, and resources. Foster peer-to-peer learning and collaboration, cross-training and knowledge sharing within the team and global community to enhance overall capabilities supporting an environment of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
  • OR equivalent experience.

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
