Microsoft 365 is one of the largest enterprise services at Microsoft (and the world!), and security and customer trust are key to the success of our business and its continued growth. A key pillar of securing the service is building effective and scalable systems that help us detect and respond to threats against M365 infrastructure. This enables us to catch and mitigate threats before our customers are harmed.

To achieve this mission, the Microsoft Security Response Center (MSRC) and Microsoft 365 Core Security team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive our work in security monitoring and response systems.

In this fast paced and highly visible role, you will work closely with teams across the M365 business to understand the threat landscape facing the service. You will translate that into a strategy for enabling the kind of monitoring and response capabilities needed to mitigate those threats, and then work with our engineering teams to build high scale data systems that enable and validate those capabilities. Throughout this process, you will continuously stay plugged in with security researchers and service owners to make sure that the capabilities and systems we build stay ahead of the threats we expect to face as the service evolves. Expect to use a combination of ML, AI, big data, automation and teamwork to be successful here!
