Responsibilities

Drives impact as an employee advocate for employee experiences while driving employee engagement and promoting investments in employee experience. May use knowledge of laws and regulations to help inform HR practices; collaborates with a variety of key stakeholders, such as the union. Participates or leads projects, programs, and initiatives as needed. Builds relationships with leadership teams as a partner while creating clarity across people priorities.

  • In collaboration with team members, partners across the Human Resources (HR) model to foster seamless, high-quality delivery of HR services (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, statutory reporting).
  • Contributes to Human Resources alignment within stakeholder businesses for the specific area. Helps ensure HR information within the organization is accurate and up to date (e.g., immigration, mobility, offer governance).
  • Gains knowledge of laws, regulations, standards, and emerging trends that may affect Human Resources policies (HR) and execution of these (e.g., legal signatories, court representation, health and safety, benefits, local documentation requirements, General Data Protection Regulation [GDPR], legal localization).
  • Assists team to resolve HR issues involving legal and financial risk to the organization, in service to the Microsoft brand, values, and image.
  • Collaborates with the team on strategies to improve engagement. Supports optimal investments in employee experiences while contributing to the end-to-end employee experience for business impact. Supports fair and inclusive employee experience for all (e.g., local policy, training, perks).
  • Statutory reporting on sick leave, recruitment, D&I etc.
