Azure Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) services are on a mission to provide customers with assured protection for all their workloads (VMs, Databases, Containers, File Servers, Storage Services Data), running on any cloud (on-premises, edge, and Azure Cloud) and Hypervisors/Containers. Our data protection platform goes beyond just backups and disaster recovery to provide fit-for-purpose experiences for customers to manage threats like ransomware. Determining a scalable model for protection and allowing consistent management across all clouds is the key.

Responsibilities

• Defines product vision and strategy, leveraging deep understanding of the customer experience and competitive market.
• Building consensus on product strategy/vison across all functions and aligns with internal/external partners to achieve defined goals and vision for product/ service feature area(s).
• Identifying short-and long-term investment opportunities, evaluating tradeoffs, and driving the product roadmap.
• Defines the feature set and iterates with multiple designs with Design and Engineering.
• Engaging customers to capture feedback, develop insights, evangelize, and educate.
• Works across all stages of product lifecycle from product definition, planning, release, modifications, maintenance, and feature deprecation.
  
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills, combined with a strategic orientation.
• Demonstrated leadership, cross-team skills, communication and collaboration skills - particularly in working with remote teams.
• Aptitude for data driven decision-making and focus on delivering end to end customer value.
• Prior Experience on Cloud Product Management; Experience in Backup and Recovery or Cloud Storage.

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
