Microsoft Silicon & Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is the team behind Microsoft’s expanding Cloud Infrastructure and responsible for powering Microsoft’s “Intelligent Cloud” mission. CHIE delivers the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform globally with our server and data center infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions. As Microsoft's cloud business continues to grow the ability to deploy new offerings and HW infrastructure on time, in high volume with high quality and lowest cost is of paramount importance. To achieve this goal, the Cloud Hardware Manufacturing Engineering (CHME) team is instrumental in defining and delivering operational measures of success for hardware manufacturing, improving the planning process, quality, delivery, scale and sustainability related to Microsoft cloud hardware. We are looking for seasoned engineers with a strong passion for customer focused solutions, insight and industry knowledge to envision and implement future technical solutions that will manage and optimize the Cloud infrastructure.
We are looking for a highly analytical and quantitative Technical Program Manager to manage & execute technical projects in various domains, including Data Analytics, infrastructure and CAD methodologies, required for Silicon development, with a proven track record of utilizing data to provide insights and improve systems.
Responsibilities

Responsibilities
- Oversee the technical projects, capabilities enablement progress, and deliverable plans, in multiple technical domains to make sure the team is converging on their strategic objectives.
- Help define priorities and identify the technical gaps to drive our technical requirements towards improving the overall strategic goals of the Silicon Org
- Extract, analyze and present data with different insights, breakdowns, and implement what if scenarios to optimize our processes and aid with the decision making.
- Facilitate regular technical team discussions to address concerns, identify blocking items, and develop strategies to succeed at accomplishing the goals of the team
- Demonstrate curiosity and demonstrate creative thinking to drive solutions for complex problems
- Define clear goals and deliverables for internal and external staff required to achieve our key results, and manage their scope of work
- Work cross-organization to monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and manage project changes as needed.
- Manage dependencies and influence timely deliverables.
- 4+ years experience in an engineering or information technology field including 2+ years as a project or program manager and a BS(BA) in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, a related field..
- Hands on experience in data Extraction, analysis and presenting useful insights, to stakeholders, to uncover gaps, optimize processes, and aid with the decision making.
- Experience creating useful visuals, and leveraging Microsoft Excel for sophisticated data analysis and formulas
- A proven record of unblocking teams by demonstrating creative thinking to drive solutions for complex problems
- Experience working in global teams, and cross organisation to monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, monitor SLAs and manage project changes as needed.
