Microsoft Copilot for Security empowers defenders to detect hidden patterns, harden defenses, and respond to incidents faster with generative AI. While Generative AI has created a new set of possibilities, it’s also created a new set of challenges: hallucination, prompt injection, rapidly changing industry trends. Our team is at the forefront of both the opportunities and the challenges for Microsoft Security.
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager for Security Copilot to execute strategic priorities, drive alignment across internal and external stakeholders, build the go-to-market strategy and business model for the product. Responsibilities
- Translate strategic plans into work involving cross-team collaboration.
- Build the go-to-market strategy and business model for the rapidly evolving product.
- Conduct market analysis and strategy development for the Security and Generative AI space.
- Develop clear requirements and work closely with the software engineering team to meet product goals.
- Build Role Based Access Control (RBAC) system for the Security Copilot product.
- Contribute to the compliance requirements for the product to meet Microsoft’s data protection and privacy standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- Experience as a product manager in one of the cyber security, compliance, identity, and/or management markets.
- Experience prioritizing an engineering team’s backlog, creating, and maintaining product requirements and coordinating activity across multiple stakeholder groups for mutual success.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
- Experience in a rapidly-scaling space.
- Previous experience involving AI or Machine Learning.
