Are you passionate about leveraging process across planning and operations to drive meaningful outcomes for Xbox and the gaming industry? Do you enjoy evaluating outcomes, options, and driving consensus for the best solution? Are you a perfectionist that loves to track “all the details”? Do you have a strong program management background with an emphasis on business planning and release? If yes, this is a great opportunity to join team Xbox! We’re looking for an experienced program manager who is excited to support planning and execution motions across our team and Microsoft.

Your focus will be driving planning and execution across products, services, and experiences for Xbox creator and commerce experiences. You’ll collaborate with internal technical program and product managers and engineers as a bridge between teams involved in development. You will ensure alignment on priority, scope, quality, and timeline. You’ll maintain Azure Dev Ops, dashboards, reporting, and ensure data hygiene across projects. You’ll track details and communicate updates ensuring alignment. Your actions will help deliver incredible impact for Xbox and the gaming industry!

Responsibilities

  • Align people and processes to achieve objectives
  • Drive planning, execution, and release across team and organizational boundaries
  • Manage intake and prioritization of engineering features across teams and organizations
  • Track, understand, and summarize outcomes and evangelize those with partners
  • Azure Dev Ops architecture, permissions management, dashboard query creation and management
  • Facilitate shiprooms, proactively communicate status, identify project risks, and manage execution
  • Objectives and Key Results (OKR) tool management and progress updates
  • Create org-wide communications, reports, and executive level presentations representing planning and engineering status
  • Drive continuous improvement cycle, collecting feedback and evolving processes related to business and engineering execution
  • Build and maintain internal roadmap of projects and planning and release criteria, ensuring requirements are met
  • Drive and support team Rhythm of Business across planning and execution motions

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Include written communication samples of email communications, guidance/documentation, presentations, and/or reports that you have drafted to your resume/application. Redact sensitive information.
  • Ability to communicate in English both written and verbal, CEFR level C2 English or equivalent
  • Exceptional organization skills, calendar and time management, highly focused on details
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate clearly and positively, ability to build strong partnerships within team and across organizational lines
  • Expert Azure Dev Ops skills including complex query creation, dashboard creation and management, permissions management, markdown, add-ons, and reporting
  • Experience using and proficiency with Microsoft Tools: Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Self-starter with proven ability to execute high-quality work with minimal direction by deadlines
  • 3+ years of experience in business planning, program management, release management or related
  • BA/BS in business, communication, engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
