Microsoft is looking for a Principal Product Manager to join the Azure Edge and Platform team, focusing on AI Ops for external customers in the Health and Standards domain. As a Principal Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining and delivering the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the BRAIN platform. You will work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver innovative and impactful products that solve real customer problems and drive business outcomes.��

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge AI Ops technologies and solutions. You will also collaborate with other teams and partners across Microsoft to leverage and integrate AI Ops capabilities, such as Azure Monitor, Azure Sentinel, Azure Lighthouse, and Azure Arc. Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the BRAIN platform, aligning with the Azure Edge and Platform org goals and priorities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to define, prioritize, and deliver product features and enhancements that meet external customer requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for AI Ops solutions.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market plans, including positioning, messaging, pricing, and launch activities for AI Ops products and services.
  • Measure and evaluate the performance, adoption, and feedback of AI Ops products and services, and iterate based on data and insights.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, analysts, and industry experts.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of product management experience in cloud computing, AI, or related domains.
Additional Or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of AI Ops concepts, technologies, and best practices, such as observability, anomaly detection, root cause analysis, incident management, and automation.
  • Experience working with Azure or other cloud platforms and services.
  • Solid communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
