The Microsoft Sales Co-Pilot teams enables a product that combines the latest Microsoft AI technologies, modern-work suite, and Power Platform to improve productivity and collaboration for millions of sellers.

The emergence of remote and hybrid work and digital collaboration is disrupting the ways in which selling is happening. Sellers are increasingly relying on productivity and communication tools rather than traditional CRMs. This provides a unique opportunity to empower sellers in unprecedented ways, ushering in automation, real-time coaching, and insightful recommendations into their daily workflow. Sales Copilot achieves this by crafting tailor-made seller experiences that leverage the latest advancements in Microsoft's sales AI capabilities and the modern-work suite, encompassing Microsoft 365 and Teams. These experiences seamlessly integrate with leading CRM systems like Salesforce or Dynamics 365.

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team. This role will play a pivotal role in developing end-to-end solutions that deliver rich seller experiences across a multitude of platforms, including Web, Windows, iOS, and Android. These experiences are built upon a highly scalable Azure service architecture, featuring a React-based UI that seamlessly integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Teams. Our team works closely with numerous product groups across Microsoft, Microsoft Graph, Outlook, Teams, Dataverse, and the Power Platform, which enables us to deliver a fully integrated SaaS offering to our customers.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer- Sales Copilot, you will be responsible for the full-stack and end-to-end development of features in the Sales Copilot product and will contribute to the team as part of the broader architecture, and developer productivity. As part of the role, you will:

  • Collaborate across disciplines, such as product management and UX, to design, develop, and ship full stack end-to-end features.
  • Own all aspects of feature development, such as quality, scalability, performance, telemetry, alerting, and maintenance.
  • Contribute to the broader service architecture that can scale to millions of users.
  • Contribute to a UI framework that allows easy maintenance and facilitates rapid innovation.
  • Collaborate across the engineering team to establish practices and improve developer productivity.
  • Maintain features in production environments and participate in live site. Embody our culture and values

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
    • OR equivalent experience.
    • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in objective-oriented languages, such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience in JavaScript UI client frameworks, such as React or Angular.
    • Experience with Cloud Computing Platforms, such as Azure or AWS.
    • Experience with Data Storage Technologies, such as SQL or NoSQL.
    • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools, such as Azure DevOps.
    • Experience with large scale distributed SaaS architectures.
    • Efficient communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across disciplines, within engineering team, and across partner groups.

    Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
