The Microsoft Mixed Reality & AI lab in Zurich, Switzerland, is a research and development team building the future of Mixed Reality and AI. Our lab is focused on using computer vision, machine learning/AI and cloud computing to map and understand the environment, recognize, and track relevant objects, and assist users in performing their tasks with ease. Responsibilities
- Work closely with a team of experts from different fields to integrate research findings into practical applications and products.
- Engage in state-of-the-art research. This includes staying updated with the latest scientific literature, experimenting with new techniques, and developing innovative solutions.
- Take part in defining and reviewing development aspects: selecting technologies, refining workflows, and enhancing coding practices.
- Collaborate to develop plans for testing and quality assurance of solutions.
- Must have self-motivation, teamwork skills, communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and eagerness to learn.
Required Qualifications:
- A PhD or similar professional experience in computer vision, computer graphics, or machine learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or similar.
- Strong coding, debugging, and engineering skills.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning.
- Hands-on experience with large language models.
- A strong publication record at top-tier conferences and journals (e.g ., CVPR, ECCV, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, ICLR).
