Overview

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and strategic thinker to join our Revenue Enablement team here at GitHub. This position offers the opportunity to lead the development of a sales onboarding program that transforms new hires into top performers, guiding their journey from day one. You will be a highly collaborative, energetic, creative and accountable strategic advisor and business partner to our Revenue teams. You should be knowledgeable and passionate about learning, enablement, and operational excellence, and have experience building and executing scaled enablement programs to revenue teams.

The Senior Enablement Programs Manager will be responsible for owning - including building, development, and ongoing execution - of the onboarding, methodology, and skill development strategies that supports our Revenue organization. Day-to-day activities will include implementing and evolving our sales methodology, developing content for the Microsoft joint sales program, delivering relevant enablement & training programs on our value drivers and solutions, revitalizing and raising the bar on our revenue onboarding program, and supporting skill development across our revenue organization.

Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships to collaborate with the revenue leadership team to develop comprehensive enablement programs within GitHub focused on onboarding best practices, role based learning, and Microsoft Joint sales and engagement
  • Operate as a consultant to the business by understanding revenue team needs and gaps, and design, build, and execute programs that fill these gaps
  • Capability to work cross functionally with operational and revenue teams to ensure programs have the right balance of operational excellence, program rigor, execution, and sustainability
  • Establish key performance indicators to regularly measure and analyze program effectiveness, highlighting areas of strength and opportunity for continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the development of programs and drive end-to-end project planning and program communications, including coordinating the work of internal teams and external vendors, creating project timelines and implementation plans, building content, tracking deliverables, reporting on progress, and effectively leveraging team resources to meet defined goals.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR); Develop an enablement-specific QBR to share out impact.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Consulting, Enablement, Change Management, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Consulting, Enablement, Change Management, or related field OR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Operations, Finance or related field AND 3+ years experience in Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Consulting, Enablement, Change Management, or related field OR equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and executing onboarding enablement programs to global audiences of 100+; Experience facilitating and hosting live sessions
  • 1+ year demonstrated ability to enable and lead cross-functional working groups that span both technical and non-technical backgrounds

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with sales and cross-functional teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and ability to be flexible in a rapidly changing environment; Tenacity to overcome unexpected challenges and roadblocks in pursuit of team goals
  • Excellent critical thinking skills that allow you to assess opportunities for process improvement
  • Experience and familiarity of working with learning technology tools
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze revenue metrics and make data-driven decisions
  • Familiarity with MEDDPIC
  • Familiarity with GitHub: our product and our community

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $89,200.00 - USD $236,600.00 /Yr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
