We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to broaden our efforts for dynamic, personalized ad products to an audience. We are building highly scalable, multiformat, omnichannel ad products to enable our advertisers to run full funnel advertising campaigns. We have a huge business opportunity in front of us and this role is key to enable it.

In this role, you will use qualitative (customer feedback, user research, academic research) and quantitative data analysis to drive immediate and long-term improvements (data, relevance, UX, measurement) to both existing experience and identify opportunities for the future. You will work closely with designers, engineers, scientists, user research and broader cross-org teams across Microsoft and the Advertising Platform team - to build a plan and roadmap to evolve the experience and support our partners. You will also rely on your experience in enhancing existing UX & platform solutions at scale to be adopted by multiple products and teams across Microsoft.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and manage scenario backlog, including ensuring partner dependencies are delivered in a timely fashion.
  • Define and drive experimentation plans that ensure statistically meaningful conclusions are reached.
  • Partner with key internal and external partners to develop joint product plans, gather feedback, manage dependencies, and ensure customer success.
  • Keep pace with emerging standards in your feature area, and leverage learnings to improve our future product roadmap across desktop, mobile, and app categories.
  • Own your feature backlog with clarity, urgency, and accountability.
  • Actively drive and present product plans and reviews, demos, and competitive analyses with the team, partners, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/program management
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years people management experience.
  • 5+ years of AdTech exerience
Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Product management.
  • Have managed an E2E product release cycle.
  • Experience with end-user facing products and services, focus on UX.
  • Strong Technical background with experience in API’s and third-party integrations.

Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
