We are looking for a Business Program Management Director who can think strategically, work pragmatically, and lead AI-led transformation in the Small and Medium Business (SMB) space. This role requires great solution experience expertise and the ability to deliver impactful solutions across a matrix of partner teams.

In this role, you will define, manage, and deliver key platform capabilities to enable connected customer experiences through well-architected digital solutions. You will transform the Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Business in the SMC segment, focusing specifically on SMB role personas. As a collaborative leader with a track record in business capability design (people/process/tool) and change management, you will influence successfully in a highly matrixed environment. We seek someone with a deep understanding of sales and partner processes, a customer-obsessed mindset, and the ability to mobilize lasting change across organizational and geographic boundaries.

You will act as a trusted partner to the SMB and Partner businesses, enabling them to grow and scale with accelerated digital solutions. You will be accountable for a few products and solutions end-to-end, spearheading the vision and strategic direction, crafting comprehensive roadmaps, and defining requirements with AI at the core. You will oversee the product delivery lifecycle, from inception to launch, ensuring our solutions are adopted effectively and deliver tangible value to our customers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement, consulting, change management, or related experience
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in designing and deploying large, enterprise-grade technology solutions while driving complex multi-stakeholder processes or cross-functional programs leveraging CRM tools like MS Dynamics or Salesforce or equivalent technology AND Account Planning and Lead to Contract processes for Small Medium Business, including channel partners.
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years experience building, influencing and presenting to internal stakeholders and leaders to impact business solutions with displayed business acumen and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in consulting or professional services environments, with certifications in Lean, Business Process Management, PMP, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Six Sigma, and/or Agile AND experience in Account Planning and Lead to Contract processes for Small Medium Business, including channel partners.

Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage complex business initiatives like the SMB big bets that span one or multiple lines of business, understanding interdependencies between process, technology, and people needs. You will deliver a portfolio of programs, projects, and strategic initiatives that drive positive impact and business outcomes. You will work in close partnership with teams within Enablement & Operations (E&O), Enterprise Data Operations and Technology (EDOT), and Commercial Systems & Technology (CST), as well as various business and partner stakeholders in the SMC, SMB, Partner, and Solution Area teams. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvements in productivity, efficiency, quality, speed, and cost across the enterprise business architecture..

  • Lead trusted-advisor partnerships with business leaders to synthesize key priorities and drive impactful technology roadmaps.
  • Assess new stakeholder requests to determine business case, scope, and priority alignment.
  • Demonstrate user obsession by identifying and solving key persona pain points with AI-first solutions.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to distill clear business and user requirements.
  • Drive convergence across business and engineering teams on optimal design and solution paths.
  • Re-imagine business processes and workflows leveraging AI to bring intuitive solutions into the flow of work.
  • Effectively communicate product roadmaps and plans, tracking progress towards business goals.
  • Build relationships and collaborate globally with stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of progress and performance.
