Microsoft’s Cloud business is expanding, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth including AI! CSCP’s vision is to empower customers to achieve more by delivering Cloud Capacity Differentiated at Scale.

The CSCP Organization is responsible for traditional supply chain functions such as Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, but also manages supportability (spares), decommissioning and disposition of Data center assets worldwide. We deliver the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive and the Microsoft Azure platform for external customers. Our infrastructure is comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 200 datacenters supporting services for more than 1 billion customers in over 90 countries worldwide.
The Spares Supply Chain team is transforming the cloud service parts supply chain in order to ensure that the right spare parts are in the right place at the right time to support global capacity requirements and make sure our customers have the cloud capacity they need when they need it. We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager to help drive the transformation of the end-to-end Spares Supply Chain. In this role, you will collaborate across the Cloud Supply Chain and partner organizations to define new business processes and document requirements, work with Engineering to define, prioritize and support delivery of new capabilities, and drive deployment and adoption of those capabilities across operations teams.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 1+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in supply chain transformation strategies, digital transformation, process reengineering, and/or major systems deployments
Other Requirements
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in supply chain transformation strategies, digital transformation, process reengineering, and/or major systems deployments
- Understanding of process engineering and software development lifecycle, including gathering, analyzing, and defining business and functional requirements
- Written and verbal communication skills, with ability to create and deliver executive friendly communications on complex solutions
- Ability to influence diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levels in a highly matrixed environment - Knowledge of key IT and service industry concepts
- Proficient with Microsoft applications including Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, PowerPlatform
- SAP experience plus - Knowledge of supply chain management, demand & supply planning, procurement processes, planning and/or hardware service models
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and datacenter technologies and operations
- Lean/Six-Sigma training, Kaizen, Agile, CPIM/CSCP certification
- Program Management certification, e.g., PMP
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.

Responsibilities
- Deliver on key strategic programs & projects that enable the transformation of the Spare Parts Supply Chain for Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure
- Develop and drive future state process & systems roadmaps with clear articulation of business impact, success metrics, and KPIs
- Work with multiple software engineering teams to define requirements, drive prioritization of work, delivery schedules and related resource plans
- Own change management across multiple teams to create & maintain alignment in support of new processes & systems
- Define & drive to detailed program schedules, including senior-level program-level reviews to share scope, schedule, issues, and risks.
- Cultivate strategic relationships globally, and influence business and technical decision makers through verbal, written and visual communication
- Perform data analysis and visualization using appropriate tools including SQL, PowerBI and Excel
