Are you passionate about building services and developing teams that help Azure’s biggest customers effectively govern and control their vast cloud environment at scale, to maximize business value, reduce risk and keep operations in compliance?
We are a team in the Azure Core organization responsible for Azure Resource Manager (ARM). ARM is the control plane API service for all Azure services which enables a consistent way to manage the lifecycle of cloud resources. It also provides central resource governance & query/visibility capabilities to customers.
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager with effective collaboration skills, proven technical background, passion for quality, customer/partner empathy, and experience building, releasing and continuously improving services through customer focused and data driven metrics. This position requires the ability to gain trust and influence customers, partners, and engineers, a passion for making decisions and designing hypothesizes based on customer data, and a technical working knowledge with cloud computing scenarios.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree AND 5+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience using high scale RESTful services and APIs.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
- Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience building and using high scale RESTful services and APIs.
- 2+ Experience with KQL, CosmosDB, Event Grid and Event Hub.
- Experience with data and business analytics and using business insights to track usage, adoption, and funnel analysis to increase success.
- Experience in software solutions preferably in large scale apps and solutions in cloud and both Microsoft technologies and open source experience.
Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.

Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for driving the products related to cloud governance & control capabilities in Azure like Resource Graph & Resource Notification, which are critical to Azure customers’ visibility & resource inventory management at scale in their cloud environment.
- You will need to work with major customers, engineering, and many product teams across Azure, customer success & marketing to provide a great end-to-end experience for enabling Azure resources to be governed. This also includes taking a broad view of the services offered in Azure and competitors to understand the opportunities to grow the existing customer base while improving quality, delivery, and supportability.
- You will partner with others to collect performance metrics and form hypotheses for complex technical needs in order to improve product development in targeted areas. You’ll also identify features to deprecate, manage customer communities, and build trust with targeted customers.
