An exciting opportunity has become available as an Account Executive (AE) in the Devolved Government and Housing Team, looking after some of our biggest Socal Housing customers in the UK . This important role helps our Housing customers meet their business and learning challenges, accelerate strong business outcomes and ultimately improve the services and experiences that they provide to citizens. We need to help those customers become more productive, to get more from their data with AI, to digitize as many processes as possible, maximising their investment in Microsoft technology in order to free up time for their teams to offer fantastic services, care & compassion to their social housing customers.

The Account Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting our customers through strong partnership, and this is a role that has evolved beyond selling products and services. Our modern Account Executive is a trusted advisor who leads with societal purpose and with business outcomes in mind.

  • Can see the ‘big picture,’ and are able to comfortably engage senior housing leaders on their goals and challenges
  • Have a passion for working in technology-led transformation in Housing

  • Have experience of working with a distributed customer and colleague base, with an engagement style that seeks to understand and embrace geographical and cultural differences

Qualifications

Common attributes we typically look for, can include;

  • Track record of confidently holding executive level relationships and influencing at senior levels within Public Sector organisations
  • Experience in Enterprise Sales, Business Consulting or Consultative Selling, preferably in Digital Technology & AI, or similar areas
  • Housing Association and Social Housing technology experience is desired but not essential

  • Effectively engage and run a global, hybrid, diverse team, all supporting the customers vision
  • Communicate and coordinate with a broad range of senior stakeholders within Microsoft and within your Housing customers
  • Take our Housing customers on a journey of digital change, moving to cloud based AI services and leveraging the AI innovation and optimization that will bring for those customers
  • Take ownership for your customer’s experience with Microsoft
  • Challenge traditional thinking and approaches with empathy and think about how we can help our customers do things differently
  • Meet or exceed revenue goals set by the business
  • Increase Microsoft’s credibility, impact and depth of engagement in both your customers and in the broader Housing market
  • Engage and successfully collaborate with our Microsoft Partner Network in building the right AI solutions for our Housing customers, as part of the large, global Microsoft virtual team
  • Ensure that the customer gets the very best value from their Microsoft investments, looking for every opportunity to address our customers challenges using our software and AI services
