Microsoft Defender for Cloud Security for AI is an integral component of the Microsoft Defender for Cloud suite, dedicated to cloud-native application protection for AI. Our platform unifies security of development operations (DevSecOps), implements cloud security posture management (CSPM) to identify and prevent breaches, and employs cloud workload protection platform (CWPP) to detect, alert, and respond to real-time cyber-attacks worldwide.

Join our diverse team of talented professionals, including software engineers, security researchers, program managers, and data scientists. Together, we collaborate to develop products that secure our customers, including some of the world's largest and most influential companies.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of hands-on engineering experience leading complex designs, developing high quality and high resilient systems.
  • 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience working on large-scale cloud applications and designing and building large-scale distributed systems.
  • 3+ years of experience as senior/principal technical lead / architect role.
  • B.Sc./M.Sc in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Engaging, cooperative, forward thinking, curious and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Engineering Manager in the Microsoft Defender for Cloud Security for AI team, you will be at the forefront of developing next-generation security products and services, with a special focus on safeguarding AI applications for the largest S500 customers. You will have the opportunity to work on business-critical initiatives that directly shape the future of Microsoft Security products. The role requires to

  • Take a broad cross-team and cross-discipline role, working on a product with high visibility and high impact.
  • Lead end-to-end design, implementation and delivery of services and features, following industry best practices, adhering to very high security standards
  • Help define and execute security for AI agenda and vision how to enhance and scale the security capabilities
  • Collaborate closely with partner groups, product management and research teams to deliver great product.
  • Demonstrate leadership principles of model, coach, and care for team members.
