The Microsoft Threat Intelligence engineering team works across Microsoft Security and the CISO Org to provide world class threat intelligence and hunting capabilities directly to our security researchers and analysts powering Microsoft's entire security suite of products with their insights. Our team works with massive data sets, as well as Microsoft-created and curated content to provide the context and insights our customers have come to rely on. All this is underpinned by a range of engineering systems from ad hoc tooling stood up in response to the latest emerging threats to production services connected to customer-facing security solutions. We are seeking a seasoned Security Product Manager to advance MSTIC’s R&D services and products, driving initiatives aimed at identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats to Microsoft and our customers. You will focus both on increasing our analysts’ productivity and increasing the impact that we derive from the intelligence that we generate. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or an equivalent experience.

• Substantial experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on security research or threat intelligence

• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute research & development strategies that support product development objectives.

• At least 5 years of experience as product manager capable of defining and driving processes and defining and tracking OKRs and KPIs to measure program performance.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

• Customer feedback and data driven.

• Entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter, “getting things done” attitude.

• Experience with AI and Data Science driven products and services

Responsibilities

• Work directly with intelligence analysts from across Microsoft's research ecosystem to gather, curate, and prioritize the most important problems to solve on behalf of our researchers, always keeping our end customer's goals and mission in mind.

• Develop subject matter expertise in the workflows our analysts use to gain insights, publish content, etc.

• Deep expertise in security principles, with a focus on threat intelligence and security research methodologies.

• Connect analyst workflows to AI opportunities.

• Partner with Engineering to drive a complete Product-team approach to solving problems.

• Ensure our engineers always know the 'what' and 'why' behind the work they do, and empower them to be part of the solution.
