Our team is developing world-class silicon devices to support Microsoft’s AI Supercomputer programs. We are looking for a passionate C-model engineer to make an impact with their experience in architecture modeling, AI workload acceleration and computer architecture. The successful candidate must be highly motivated who will thrive in this cutting-edge technical environment, collaborates beyond the block/tasks they own, has a passion for learning, and brings diverse perspectives to us help design products that are shaping the future of computing.

Qualifications

Minimum (Must Have) Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • 13+ years’ experience in silicon development
  • Expertise in Architecture modeling - C/C++ proficiency
  • 3+ years experience in RTL design (micro-architecture) OR Design verification
  • Linear algebra / matrix operations expertise
  • Team player with excellent communication skills and a growth mindset

Preferred (Good to Have) Qualifications:

  • Machine learning / neural network experience
  • Understanding of floating-point formats (IEEE/non-IEEE) and FP arithmetic

Responsibilities

You will be on the leading edge of computing, building lasting relationships with various cross-functional groups to deliver high-performance and innovative silicon IP, using your extensive experience to develop hardware architectures and features. You are expected to work with limited direction, have attention to detail and be able to provide crisp status of progress, issues, and risks on the program to the management team.

Responsibilities include:

  • IP block hardware model development in C/C++
  • C/C++ test and test platform development
  • Model architecture exploration tasks
