The Global HR Consulting organization that partners with Geo-MCAPS has created a team responsible for transforming our global, scaled Human Resources (HR) solutions and rhythm of business (ROB) programs delivery practice. The centralized scaled solutions team will evolve the portfolio of global scaled solutions and HR ROB programs such as manager enablement, Performance & Development (annual rewards, promotions, special stock, Connects), global workforce planning and movement, and more. The team’s success will enable our Microsoft business performance and culture by building the capabilities of the Geo-MCAPS manager community, deliver high quality and globally consistent experiences, simplify the approach to launching solutions globally.

This Senior Human Resources Consultant role will be responsible for leading the design, orchestration, deployment and consumption of global HR solutions/programs. This includes but is not limited to defining the opportunity and persona, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure role clarity and a proper change plan, leveraging partners across the HR community to ensure an impactful outcome, and developing a solid go-to-market approach. The role will leverage data and technology to proactively identify opportunities and measure the impact on the business. Agile squads may be utilized to develop quality, cross-functional solutions at speed.

You will need to excel as a strategic thinker and have the abilities to design HR solutions that are durable and scale across our broad portfolio. You will be effective at HR project management, change management, systems thinking, and global customer advocacy. Impactful collaboration with all HR and business stakeholders are essential to drive results in this role.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 9+ years experience with Human Resources or Business programs/processes
    • OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 7+ years experience with Human Resources or Business programs/processes.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)/Society for Human Resources Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Responsibilities

  • You will provide expert consulting to employees and managers in one or more HR program focus areas, as well as use knowledge to influence the direction of HR work. You’ll also lead data analytics by creating analysis plans, and recommend action plans based on analysis.
  • You will conduct one-on-one coaching with business leaders, as well as engage stakeholders and partners in capability-building conversations. You’ll also lead capability-building programs, and identify training needs.
  • You will partner with Centers of Excellence to implement scalable HR programs. You’ll also lead the design and implementation of local HR projects, as well as guide others in implementing messages from the Center of Excellence.
  • You will advocate Microsoft values and compliance with HR policies for a business or region, drive a scalable approach for enhancing compliance, and lead policy and procedure updates. You’ll also oversee CRM and queue management system queries.
